Melissa has served within the LDA community as a volunteer for over a decade, first at LDAYR where she was President and then at LDAO where she was a Director and Secretary of the Board. Melissa holds two Master’s degrees, one in Law with a concentration in technology and innovation from UofT, as well as an MBA from Cornell University. She has grown a successful career as a Financial Advisor and Consultant, as well as launching her entrepreneurial endeavour in Krippit. In 2022, Melissa was one of ten Ontario-based business owners who received a Lenovo Digital Transformation Grant from the Toronto Region Board of Trade (TRBOT).
Melissa grew up with an LD and has worked hard to overcome its potential negative impacts on her life. Melissa is standing for a one-year term as she has completed her third consecutive term on the LDAO Board.
