The Learning Disabilities Association of Canada (LDAC) is a national, non-profit organization established in 1963 to provide a unified voice for individuals with learning disabilities (LDs) and those who support them across Canada. LDAC collaborates with provincial and territorial Learning Disabilities Associations, extending a network of chapters in more than 75 communities nationwide.

Key Initiatives:

Advocacy

LDAC works to influence public policy and promote the rights of individuals with LDs, ensuring equitable access to educational and employment opportunities.

Research

Through the LDAC Research Hub, the association curates resources and disseminates information to educators, parents, and professionals to enhance understanding and support for those with LDs.

Public Awareness

LDAC strives to increase awareness about learning disabilities through campaigns and resources, fostering a more inclusive society.
