Cory Garlough is a senior operations and business leader with extensive experience in talent management, process optimization, and large-scale business leadership. He has held executive roles in the financial sector, including as Senior Vice President, Retail & Business Service Centres at Scotiabank, where he led national and global initiatives focused on automation, digitization, and customer experience. Cory also played a key role in developing and launching Scotiabank’s first-ever Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, reflecting his commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces.

Beyond his professional expertise, Cory has the lived experience of being a parent to a child with learning disabilities, which fuels his passion for advocacy and systemic support. He is dedicated to strengthening resources for parents and expanding the reach of LDAs across Ontario. Cory has been an active member of the LDAO Board and now serves as Chair, helping to guide the organization’s strategic direction and impact.
