Marylin is currently a Superintendent of Student Achievement with Wellington Catholic District School Board. She served as Superintendent with Bruce Grey Catholic for a short stint, where she had the benefit of working and learning alongside a team with a strong background in the science of learning. This sparked a passion and interest in evidence-based practices, an area she continues to explore and develop. She is excited to join us today to discuss her journey and the journey of her board in implementing a Multi Tiered system of support and, specifically Tier 2 supports at both the system and classroom levels.
Chantal is a Superintendent of Education at the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board. With over 20 years of leadership experience, Chantal is a dedicated learner and leader focused on improving outcomes for all students. She leads Special Education and Math achievement and has helped guide her board’s system-wide commitment to the science of learning. What began with evidence-based literacy practices has grown into a movement for strong math instruction across tiers. Chantal is excited to share how quality Tier 1 teaching is not only essential but also the key to effective Tier 2 intervention.
