Side-by-side comparison of two course options for parents and caregivers: Full Course (with Certificate) for $350 with facilitated learning and feedback, and Self-Directed Course for $250 with self-paced learning and discussion support, but no certificate.

About the Course

This course supports parents and caregivers in building effective, collaborative partnerships with schools to support their child’s success.

Developed in partnership with the Child Development Institute (CDI), the course focuses on advocacy, understanding school systems, and practical strategies for navigating meetings, Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and decision-making.

This is a fully online, asynchronous course. There are no scheduled live sessions.

Course Schedule

Course begins May 11, 2026
Weekly modules released each Monday, with the final unit (Week 7) released on June 22, 2026

Both options include the same course content. Choose the option that best fits your learning preferences and support needs.

Participants will receive additional instructions closer to the course start date.
