Welcome to IEP 101, the Individual Education Plan (IEP) online workshop for parents and students. This self-paced course is designed to help families understand their role in developing and supporting an effective IEP.
Through practical examples and plain-language explanations, participants will learn how IEPs are developed, what information they include, and how parents and students can work together with school staff to ensure that goals, accommodations, and supports reflect the student’s unique strengths and needs.
The workshop emphasizes communication, collaboration, and shared responsibility—recognizing that the most effective IEPs are built through partnership between families, students, and educators.
