Background

The AODA requires a regular statutory review of the act and its regulation. In February 2022, the Government of Ontario announced the appointment of Rich Donovan as the fourth legislative reviewer of the AODA.

Rich is a global expert in accessibility and economic value in the disability market. His review will focus on three key areas: considering potential changes to improve the AODA’s success, spreading awareness and building community support, and compliance and enforcement.
