LDs and ADHD 101: Foundations for Supporting Learning and Success

LD@learning is LDAO’s online learning platform. It offers self-paced courses that support understanding of Learning Disabilities, ADHD, and neurodiverse learning profiles. The courses are designed for adults who support individuals with these profiles across real learning situations.

Each course is developed by LDAO and informed by specialists in LDs, ADHD, mental health, structured literacy and direct instruction, inclusive education, and related fields. We draw on current research, lived experience with neurodiverse learning profiles, and insights from educators and community professionals. LD@learning is for anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge and strengthen their practice, including adults who have LDs or ADHD.

Who LD@learning is for?

The platform supports adults who:

  • support individuals with LDs, ADHD, or other neurodiverse learning profiles (including parents, caregivers, tutors, postsecondary staff, community workers, and employers)
  • want clear, practical strategies informed by research and lived experience
  • work in community, education, employment, or service settings
  • want to better understand learning diverse and neurodiverse profiles
