This workshop will present an overview of the core Executive Functioning Elements (ie. Planning, Organizing, Working Memory, Self Monitoring, etc.).
Candidates should bring a device to participate in a few activities that simulate what it might feel like to experience EF challenges. Each candidate will complete an EF questionnaire that will provide insight into the impact of these skills. In addition, a variety of supports and strategies that parents can use with their own child(ren) will be presented, in order to address EF challenges that some students may face.
There will be a variety of learning activities throughout this workshop!
