Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) often have difficulty managing their emotions. This webinar will help children between the ages of 8-10 learn concrete strategies to identify and manage their emotions, resulting in fewer outbursts. Parents are asked to accompany their child during this webinar so that they can assist them during the presentation and support them when their emotions are high.

Presenter: Dr. Julie Desjardins

Dr. Desjardins provides psychological services to children, adolescents, and families in both English and French. Dr. Desjardins’ areas of practice include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), social-emotional assessments, psycho-educational assessments, giftedness and family therapy. Dr. Desjardins’ approach in integrative, within a systemic perspective and with a strong focus on attachment.

In addition to private practice, Dr. Desjardins is also a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa. She is also the Training Director at CAFCO and she supervises PhD students.
