Dr. Sheryl Feinstein is Professor and Chair of the Education Department at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. She is the author of the book, Secrets of the Teenage Brain 2nd Ed (2009), which is a national and international best seller. In addition to teaching at Augustana College Sheryl consults at a correctional facility for adolescent boys and at a separate site for Emotionally/Behaviorally Disturbed adolescents in Minnesota. Prior to joining the faculty of Augustana College, Sheryl was a Curriculum Coordinator for a K-12 school district in Minnesota and taught in the public schools. While working in Minnesota she helped establish an Alternative School for at-risk secondary students.

Turning Up the Cool Factor with Assistive Technology with Dana Sahian and Melissa Cait

Dana Sahian is a Speech Language Pathologist with more than 16 years of experience working in a variety of settings, including children’s treatment centres, public, and private svhools. In her private practice, Dana works with individuals with diverse communication and learning needs.

Melissa Cait is a Psychological Associate and the founder and Clinical Director of the Ceornerstone Clinic. Melissa has more than 20 years of experience in schoolboard based psychology.

Assistive Technology Fair (11.45am – 3.00pm)
Join us for an Assistive Technology Fair sponsored by Microcomputer Science Centre. Test and explore a variety of technologies that help support student learning in and out of the classroom.
