These informative workshops will provide a broad overview for parents looking to receive information and support. Our subject matter experts will cover basics on navigating the school system, provide details on the I.E.P. (Individualized Education Program), the IPRC (Identification, Placement and Review Committee) and suggest practical tips and ideas for parents who are looking to be the best advocates for their school-aged child.

This session is ideal for new members of LDAHH or parents who are starting their advocacy journey. Each workshop will contain the same subject matter, but parents are welcome to attend as many as they would like.

100% percent of the proceeds for this event will directly benefit the Learning Disabilities Association of Halton-Hamilton’s programs.
