Maggie Wygant, Executive Director/CEO
Maggie Wygant joined LDAO in August 2007 as the organisation's Executive Director and CEO responsible for day-to-day operations and management. Maggie has a long history working in the not-for-profit sector and was founding executive director of Sheena's Place, a community based centre offering hope and support for people affected by eating disorders. Maggie has also been both Head of Marketing and Development and Interim Administrative Director for Canada 's National Ballet School. Maggie will work closely with LDAO's Board of Directors, staff and various partners to carry out the organisation's vision and mandate.

Kate Lloyd, Director, Program & Services Development
As Director of Services and Program Development, Kate has overall responsibility for all programs and services at LDAO. Kate is responsible for SOAR, Job-Fit, WBTT, ACCESS, and Online Learning, as well as any new program and services development.

Karen Quinn, Director, Chapter Services and Operations Policy Development
Karen has been with LDAO since 1978 and filled a number of staff roles over that time. Her current responsibilities encompass supporting the growth and sustainability of our 20 chapters across the province, the development of standardized operational policies and procedures for the provincial office and chapters, the overview of membership policies and procedures, and human resources support to the organization.

Diane Wagner, Public Policy, Client Services and Training Manager
Diane Wagner has been with the LDAO since 1987. She answers questions from parents, adult consumers, professionals, educators, employers and students, and consults to LDAO chapters on resource and advocacy issues. Diane works with the LDAO Legislation & Policy and Scientific Advisory Committees, writes the SEAC Circular, and represents LDAO on various committees and consultations.

Cynthia Grundmann, Web Based Teaching Tool (WBTT) Manager
As the WBTT Manager, Cynthia is responsible for the overall development, delivery and implementation of the WBTT program. Prior to joining LDAO, Cynthia completed her Masters in Teaching at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, (OISE) of the University of Toronto . She enjoys working with the WBTT team, school boards and educators in supporting struggling students and improving student achievement.

Carolyn Gregoire, WBTT Program Development and Training Manager
Carolyn manages WBTT program development and the development and implementation of WBTT training programs. She also assists with general program administration, developing the WBTT website, and supporting teachers. She is delighted to have the opportunity to use her experiences as a teacher, as well as her qualifications in Distance Education and Library and Information Science in this position.

Uzma Kapadya, Web Based Teaching Tool Coordinator
Uzma’s responsibilities at LDAO include providing training and support to school boards in Ontario. She assists the manager in identifying marketing and advocacy opportunities for the WBTT program. Uzma holds a degree in Business Administration and is a certified Elementary Teacher. She is passionate about working behind the scenes to help decrease the early achievement gap in Ontario.

Bindi Gandhi, Administrative Assistant
Bindi has been with the LDAO since 2008. She is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations. Bindi provides receptionist services such as, answering phones, responding to inquiries, including workshop inquires and registrations and assisting visitors. She ensures all of the membership data is up to date for LDAO, as well as for our 20 local chapters across the province. She also manages all the accounts receivables and payables.

Denise Harding, Fund Development
Denise has more than twenty years of experience in not-for-profit fundraising.  As LDAO's Fund Development Consultant, Denise is responsible for all fundraising activities and events.

Meltem Sevindik, Online Services Coordinator
Meltem has been with the LDAO since 2002, and currently manages our online services including our website and our online learning platform. She is passionate about learning disabilities, technology and online learning opportunities, and strives to make our web presence accessible and informative.

Cynthia Zone, Financial Consultant
Cynthia joined LDAO in 2006.  She is the CEO of Actegra Financial, which has been successfully operating in Markham, ON since 1996.  Cynthia manages all accounting and financial systems.   She conducts financial analysis and prepares detailed financial reports and statements.  Cynthia provides financial and accounting advice, direction and leadership to LDAO and its Chapters.
