How to Access the Web-Based Teaching Tool

How Can Teachers Access the WBTT?

The Web Based Teaching Tool is available to all publicly funded school boards in Ontario free of charge due to support from the Ministry of Education. Access to the WBTT is granted on an annual basis to schools signed up by their school boards. Face-to-face teacher training sessions are available throughout the school year free-of-charge (the only cost is release time).  If you teach in a school board that is not currently using the WBTT program and are interested in implementing it in your school/board you can contact Cynthia Grundmann, The Program Manager for the Web Based Teaching Tool at her contact information below.

Teachers across Ontario who have attended a training session can access the WBTT online using a secure personal username and password. Once logged in, WBTT users have access to the WBTT (including screening tools, Observation Checklists, interventions and resources) throughout the year, and to technological and pedagogical support via online tutorials, email, telephone, and face-to-face training seminars.

How Can Principals Access the WBTT School Administrator Site (SAS)?

The School Administrator Site for principals is available to all principals who have completed a training session.  Both online and face-to-face training sessions are offered.

For more information about the program and how you can use it, please contact Cynthia Grundmann, the Program Manager for the Web Based Teaching Tool at cynthiag@LDAO.ca, or 416-929-4311 x 44.
